We are a hospital facility and do take emergencies, however we do not require our staff to take after-hour call.
Requirements
Familiarity with the following, and a willingness to provide thorough and complete care as well as communicate well with fellow doctors and staff on continued care. Medical Records must be complete within a 48 hours of patient being seen. Knowledge and skill of the following is required:
- Clinical Medical Skills Basic: Vaccination, Wellness Exams, Basic minor illness
- Clinical Medical Skills Advanced: Diabetes, Hyper and Hypo Thyroid Conditions, Tick Borne Disease, Heart Disease, Traumatic Injury, Contagious Disease
- Basic Surgical Skills: Spay, Neuter, Dental Evaluation basics, basic traumatic wound care
- Advanced Surgical Skills: Dental Extraction, Cesarian Section, Abdominal Foreign Body Removal, GDV Management, Amputations, Abdominal and Thoracic centesis.
- Technical Skills use of: Radiology, Ultrasound simple and complex, Ultrasound guided biopsy, Endoscopy, Rhinoscopy
- Soft Skills: Communicating simply and effectively with clients on patient care, Succinct recording of patient records, Supportive communication with staff, Good sense of humor, Ezyvet PMS
