Bush Animal Clinic & Urgent Care is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our high-volume, fast-paced veterinary hospital in Albany, Georgia. Our practice is one of the busiest in the region, providing an exciting environment for technicians who want to use their skills fully and continue growing in the veterinary field.
We are looking for a technician who is confident, organized, and thrives in a team environment where every day brings new cases and opportunities to learn.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
Monitoring anesthesia and surgical patients.
Performing laboratory diagnostics, radiology, and patient care treatments.
Communicating with clients about patient care and discharge instructions.
Maintaining accurate medical records in Avimark.
Supporting a fast-moving treatment area while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
Qualifications:
Certified, Licensed, or Registered Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT).
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a high-volume hospital.
Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Positive attitude and strong teamwork mentality.
Avimark experience preferred but not required.
