Established since 1981, Robertson County Animal Clinic is a 6 doctor, small animal, privately owned practice seeking a full-time veterinarian. We are located about 30 minutes north of Nashville in Springfield, TN.  Great medicine and compassion for our clients and patients is our foundation.  We utilize EZVet software and Idexx in-house blood machines and reference lab.  We offer preventative care, surgery, dentistry, laser therapy, grooming, boarding and many other services.  We are blessed with a gifted support staff and a family atmosphere. 

Our business hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm and Saturdays 7:30am-1:00pm. Appointments begin at 8:00am. There is no emergency or on-call after hours required. Doctors work a rotating schedule and get 5 consecutive days off every 3 weeks! Pay is competitive and negotiable, and can be commission and/or salary depending on experience.  We offer a 401K with a match, continuing education budget, DEA license reimbursement, group insurance (with health, vision and dental options), direct deposit, 80 hours of vacation time, and staff discounts.

Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of experience in small animal medicine is preferred but not required. Must be licensed to practice in Tennessee. Compassion for animals and people is a must. Candidates need to be able to communicate with staff and clients effectively and respectfully. Time management and the ability to multitask are extremely important. Keeping documentation for the medical records up to date, accurate and done in a timely fashion is essential.  Flexibility and being able to adjust to situations in a professional way is a quality we want in all our staff family.  Work ethic should be one of character for being on time, giving an extra hand when needed and taking care of business in a professional way.
