Annual Salary: $185,000 – $250,000 (DOE) + Bonuses + Ownership Opportunity

What You'll Do as Medical Director
You’ll continue seeing patients and practicing medicine while providing critical medical leadership for the hospital. This includes:
- Guiding and mentoring veterinarians and technicians
- Developing and refining medical protocols
- Partnering with the Practice Manager to drive hospital growth and efficiency
- Fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and support
- Leading with empathy and integrity, while championing high standards of care

Located in a charming building, our hospital is equipped to handle a wide variety of cases:
- 6 modern exam rooms
- Dedicated staff space on the top floor for breaks and offices
- Dental suite with digital dental radiographs and trained dental techs
- Fully equipped treatment area, isolation ward, and in-house lab
- In-house ultrasound and echo
- Experienced, well-trained Licensed Technicians on staff, and the ability to manage complex cases
- Grooming services and boarded surgeon & cardiologist available by appointment
- Modern cloud-based PIMS with integrated labs and imaging

About You
- DVM (or equivalent) with an active New York State license
- 5+ years of veterinary experience
- Strong communicator and collaborative leader
- Passionate about mentorship, protocol development, and medical excellence
- Able to coach, delegate, and support a high-performing team
- Organized, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented
